I am currently using Homesite for my coding, does anyone use that for CSS?
I don’t have the funds right now to purchase anything fancy or high priced.
What are your recommendations?

Ok I have never used RSS feeds before. Basically my plan was to receive an RSS feed and hammer it into my database to display on my site.
My understanding was RSS was in XML format.
I downloaded a RSS reader (Snarfer) but it doesnt appear I can edit or look at the code for any of the feeds.
I am new to this. Any help?

Hi all:
I just created (or am in the process of creating) a very basic and simple website. However, at work, when I tried to bring it up - our system categorized it as a "fraud" site and thus I am unable to view.
Is there some miscoding that I’ve done? There is absolutely nothing on the site that would be inappropriate or anything. Please help!
I want my coworkers to be able to see it so they can give me some feedback. Thanks in advance!!

PS - Our company is pretty lenient on web site viewing. Which is why this is so weird and frustrating!! :redhot: We use SurfControl. I talked with our IT guy and he said he didn’t know exactly what parameters is set to flag a site as "fraudulent."

Hi guys
I must insert in a html site a htaccess file that create a redirect 301 to
the site home page for every page that gives error 404 (Page not found), but
without affecting the single redirect 301 already present in the file
htaccess regarding other subpage moved and renamed in the past.
The purpose of all of this is not losing the google page rank that can be
passed trough every bad written back link .
What do I write in the htaccess file to do this? Do I have to write it
before or after the existing rules?
Usually I have only one or two error 404 for months to redirect: I wouldn’t have to have a penalty for duplicate pages, isn’t it?
Thank you

Hello all,
I need to animate text/image but I’m unsure of how to go about it.
What I need is to have the text/image pop up in various places on the screen, stay a couple seconds, fade out, then repeat the process with other text, and perhaps loop the entire thing.
Would I use flash, css, or javascript for this?
I have frontpage 2003, however, it only allows gives me very limited options with no "fade from screen" option.
I was actually educated in animation and visual effects, so creating this in an animation rendered as flash video is no problem. But I think my employer actually wants this as text not a video file.
I have very limited knowledge of flash, css, and javascript, and I do not posess Adobe Flash.
Is it possible to do this in a limited amount of time, I need to get this done relatively quickly for the company I work for.
Any help would be appreciated.

There may be an answer to my problem, so I’m here to find out. My website’s navigation is rather simple, but it has a major flaw. Sometimes, depending on the browser’s width, the bottom anchor row causes a vertical scrollbar to appear, causing the line-wrapping to adjust the anchor being clicked, causing the click not to register and yield the desired page. Please take a look.

I am not a big American Football fan… but have to say. Superbowl is the greatest sporting event on earth. Fantastic game. Anyone else watch it?
